LightStim for Acne is a high-quality, easy-to-use, at-home device that combines therapeutic light energy with patented technology to treat you're acne to help recapture that clear youthful appearance.

This award winning acne-clearing device delivers light energy in a similar way plants absorb light energy from the sun. Each LightStim device uses different wavelengths, or colors of light. LightStim for Acne uses blue light to destroy acne-causing bacteria, and red light to help soothe and calm the skin. This helps clear existing breakouts in order to give you visibly improved, healthy-looking skin.

LightStim has advanced NASA’s LED technology’s to a new level, developing LightStim MultiWave® Patented Technology to simultaneously emit multiple wavelengths (colors) of light. These wavelengths of light work together to give your skin a more radiant and clear complexion.

HOW IT WORKS

Acne or blemish-prone skin can create excess bacteria, or specifically the p.acnes bacteria which can clog your pores and create breakouts. The p. Acnes bacteria responds particularly well to blue LED light, and thus using your light on a daily basis destroys the bacteria, helping you to control your blemishes.

Your LightStim For Acne LED Light Therapy is best used on freshly cleansed, dry skin. Once the device is connected to the wall power, a three-minute timer will automatically start. Hold the device up to your face, gently touching your skin, light-facing towards your skin and hold in place over problem areas (e.g chin, forehead) until the device beeps (after 3 minutes) Then, move to the next part of your face.

While your skin is achieving clarity, you can use your Light daily. Once you have entered the maintenance phase, using the Light 2-3 times a week should aid in maintaining clear skin. Your LightStim For Acne LED Light Therapy will automatically shut off after 30 minutes, or you can choose to manually shut it off at any point with the switch. Once the device has been shut down, continue with any serums or moisturisers that form the basis of your skincare regime.

Is it painful? Not in the slightest. The lights do emit a gentle warmth but they are in no way hot or painful, and the LED therapy is completely non-invasive, with no recovery time.

Will I have to replace this device? No. As this runs on mains power, rather than a battery and has no cartridges, it should last you a lifetime and is maintenance-free.

LightStim For Acne LED Light Therapy is not suitable during pregnancy or when breastfeeding.

USAGE

Use on clean, dry skin, AM or PM. Hold the LightStim gently against a blemish-prone area and turn on the light. This will start the 3-minute treatment timer. After the beep, move to the next area and repeat. Use daily for 2 weeks or until skin clears. Use 2-3 times per week to maintain results.
