Plasma Treatments with Plexr Plus

Prepping the skin prior to treatment is an absolute must. Using a non prescription retinol, ideal retinols are 0.3 & 0.5, along with a tyrosinase inhibitor (pigment blocker).

If you are not using either of the above please get in contact with someone at CSH to get you on both prep serums. These must be used for 2-4 weeks minimum along with a 50+ broad spectrum Spf prior to treatment.

 

WHAT IS PLASMA TECHNOLOGY?

Plasma treatments utilise a small electrical charge to deliver energy to the superficial skin cells, transitioning the targeted area from a solid to a gas state without damaging surrounding tissue, a process known as sublimation. Plasma treatments initiate a wound healing response in the skin, stimulating Fibroblast cells to produce more collagen and repair the skin.

The results are amazing and clearly visible after just one treatment. Best results are usually visible from 14 days and 45-60 days being final result from that treatment session.

PLASMA SKIN REJUVENATION / AGE MANAGEMENT / SKIN TIGHTENING

During the natural aging process less collagen is produced, elastin fibers wear out and the dermal layer thins, resulting in wrinkling, sagging skin. Plasma Skin Rejuvenation treatments with the Plexr Plus are designed to stimulate cells to produce more collagen and repair the skin, resulting in plumper younger looking skin. Collagen continues to generate for 4-6 weeks after treatment, resulting in lifted and smoother skin. NON SURGICAL BLEPHAROPLASTY / NON SURGICAL EYELIFT

SKIN LESION REMOVAL

Skin lesion removal with Plexr Plus provides effective removal on almost all areas including the face, décolletage, arms, armpits, legs, back, chest and neck. With shorter healing time and minimal scarring a range of skin lesions including moles, skin tags, senile warts and cherry angiomas can be safely removed.

 

SCAR REDUCTION / SCAR CORRECTION

Scar Reduction and Scar Correction Treatments with Plexr Plus are able to target and breakdown scar tissue through the plasma sublimation process, effectively cauterising scar tissue and prompting the body to generate new cells to repair the skin and reduce the appearance of the scar. Treatments are ideal for post-surgery scarring, stretch marks, acne scarring (including ice-pick scars, rolling scar, boxcar scars), and scarring resulting from injury. Scarring correction treatments are fast and effective with many clients achieve their intended result after 1 treatment, although depending on the depth and nature of the scars some clients may require up to 3 treatments to reach their best possible scarring correction outcome.

 

PLASMA ACNE MANAGEMENT

Plasma Acne Management Treatments with the Plexr Plus provide long term results in the reduction and prevention of active acne. Treatments clear active acne as well as preventing future breakouts.

Treatments are recommended at two-week intervals, with optimal results obtained after a 2- month treatment period.

 

RISKS OF TREATMENT

Even if the therapy is carried out correctly there are certain risks which are listed below: 

• Intolerance of local anaesthetic
• Wound infection / wound healing disorders / scarring (extremely rare)
• Pigment disorder (hyper-pigmentation)

CLIENT AFTERCARE

• Wash the treated areas twice a day with a fragrance free soap and clean water. Client can also use saline and a cotton pad or gauze to clean the area.
• Disinfect the area gently with an alcohol free antiseptic such as octenisept. 
• Do not rub or scratch the crusts that will form as part of the healing process
• Makeup can be used to conceal the treatment areas if necessary. It is best to use a dry mineral based makeup. Do not use any oil based makeup until the area is fully healed.
• Use SPF 50+ and avoid direct sunlight for a minimum of 4 weeks or until the skins normal colour has returned.
• Avoid excessive exercise in the first 24 hours 
• Avoid scrubs and exfoliants and strong skincare products for the first three to five days 
• Consider taking natural supplements or antiviral medication for prevention if you are prone to cold sores if treated it that area

 

WHAT AFTER EFFECTS CAN BE EXPECTED?

These cosmetic treatments are very safe, on rare occasions, there have been reports of hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to the local anaesthetic, wound healing problems, skin infections, scarring, swelling, redness, tingling, the occurrence of herpes simplex (cold sore) and skin depigmentation (whitening). Immediately after the procedure, the treated area will be quite red and mildly swollen. This can last from 1-3 days. 

The small carbon dots will dry to become small crusts. These crusts must not under any circumstances be picked or scratched off, they must be left to fall off on their own which can take anything from 5-14 days. 

These dots can be covered with a mineral foundation or mineral concealer. For 2 weeks you will be healing so if you have any special occasions it is best to wait until after or do the treatment 1-2 months before.

When the dots are visible and once the crusts have fallen off it is imperative that you use SPF 50 sunscreen. Absolutely no sun on the area without protection for 3 months.
